How to Report an Inoperative Street Light
General Information
We pay for about 200 street lights
The lights are owned, operated and maintained by Snohomish County Public Utilities Department (SnoCo PUD)
SFHOA pays the lighting bills ~$15,000 per year
The "S" number identifies each street light
Each street light is identified by a number that starts with an "S". The "S" number is
located on the lamp housing at the top of the pole. You may need a strong flashlight and a
pair of binoculars to read it. The county needs this number when you report a light that is
out or cycling on and off.
How to report an inoperative street light
Call SnoCo PUD (425-783-8300) and say (as an example):
"The light is located on Puget Park Drive. It’s the 1st light east of 148th Street"
"The "S" number is 24271"
"The light is completely out" or "the light cycles on and off"
